About
I am a third-year PhD student in the School of Philosophy at Birkbeck College, University of London. In Hilary term 2010 I will be a recognised (i.e. visiting) student at Oxford working with John Hyman.
My research is supported by a PhD studentship from the British Society of Aesthetics. Portions of my thesis, on the epistemology and aesthetics of photographic depiction, have been published in the Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism and Ratio (see papers on the left).
I co-organise the London Aesthetics Forum, edit the PhilPapers.org category 'Photography', and in 2010 will edit the BSA's Postgraduate Journal of Aesthetics.
